Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 28) — A mixed movement in prices of fuel product are expected again next week starting May 31, Unioil Petroleum Philippines said on Saturday.

According to its forecast, fuel firms may increase the per-liter prices of diesel by ₱1.00 to ₱1.20 and slash those of gasoline by ₱1.50 to ₱1.60.

Last week, gasoline prices increased by ₱3.95 per liter while diesel prices declined by ₱2.30 per liter.

The Department of Energy said net price increases since the start of the year for gasoline, diesel and kerosene stood at ₱25.55, ₱29.10, and ₱25.20 per liter, respectively, as of May 24.
