Team USA dominates Jordan to complete Group C sweep in FIBA World Cup

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 30) — Team USA flexed its might against Jordan in dominating fashion, 110-62, to complete a sweep in Group C of the 2023 FIBA World Cup Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Anthony Edwards powered the all-NBA squad with 22 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.

An 8-0 start in the first period was all Team USA needed to build an insurmountable lead en route to the easy win.

Twin towers Bobby Portis and Jaren Jackson Jr. contributed 13 points and 12 points for the American side, respectively.

Rondae Hollis Jefferson finished with 20 points, seven rebounds, and three assists for Jordan.

Team USA will face the top two squads in Group D in Lithuania and Montenegro in the next phase of the tournament.
