Wushu artist Agatha Wong clinches fifth SEA Games gold

(CNN Philippines, May 12) — Agatha Wong nabbed her fifth Southeast Asian (SEA) Games gold medal after topping the women’s taijiquan + taijijian event Friday in Cambodia.

The 24-year-old wushu artist tallied a combined score of 19.623 (9.58 points in taijiquan and 9.683 points in taijijian) to secure the gold medal.

Wong previously won gold in the taijiquan in 2017 and 2019, and taijijian in 2019 and 2021.

The Philippines now has a total of 28 gold medals in the 32nd SEA Games.
