#WalangPasok: Class suspensions on May 29 due to Typhoon Betty

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 28) — Several local government units (LGUs) declared class suspensions for Monday, May 29, due to the effects of Typhoon Betty, which was last seen 715 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) raised Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 over 12 provinces in Northern Luzon due to the tropical cyclone.

These are the LGUs that suspended classes:

Antique

San Remigio: All levels in public and private schools.

Sebaste: All levels in public and private schools.

Caluya: All levels in public and private schools.

Belison: All levels in public and private schools.

Tibiao: All levels in public and private schools.

Tobias Fornier: All levels in public and private schools.

Pandan: All levels in public and private schools.

Patnongon: Pre-school to Senior High School in public and private schools

Culasi: All levels in public and private schools.

Libertad: Pre-school to Senior Highschool in public and private schools

Sibalom: Pre-school to Senior Highschool in public and private schools

Apayao

The entire province: In-person and online classes for all levels in public and private schools.

Cagayan

The entire province: All levels in public and private schools.

Ifugao

Alfonso Lista: Kinder to Grade 12, including alternative learning systems, in public and private schools.

Ilocos Norte

Solsona: All levels in public and private schools.

Ilocos Sur

The entire province: All levels in public and private schools.

La Union

Luna: All levels in public and private schools.
