Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) opened on Monday (October 12) the filing of certificates of candidacy (COC) for aspiring leaders of the country for the election on May 9, 2016.

Below is a list of the personalities who officially filed their COCs on Monday at the Comelec main office in Intramuros, Manila.
