Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Filipino Pokémon trainers won't have to worry about their data while playing Pokémon GO.

Smart subscribers are treated with seven days of free Pokémon GO all-day data with no registration needed until August 12. This includes all postpaid, prepaid, Bro, Infinity, and TNT subscribers.
Data charges will still apply for the app download and registration.
Globe Telecom, meanwhile, is giving Android users 300 MB-worth of free Pokémon GO data for one week. All a Globe subscriber must do is download "Globe Switch" on Google Play.
