Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 23) — ARMYs, here's some exciting news! SM Cinema has announced it will be participating in the worldwide screening of global music sensation BTS' live concert in Seoul, South Korea next month. Fans can watch the concert real-time while in the comfort of their local theaters.

"Don't miss this BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - SEOUL LIVE VIEWING concert experience broadcast only here in SM Cinema!" SM Cinema said.

SM said tickets will cost ₱1,900 per person with the live viewing at 4:45 pm and immediate playback at 8:45 pm.

The concert will begin at 5:45 pm (9:45 pm for the immediate playback) and will run for three hours and 15 minutes. Selling of tickets will begin at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 26 via the SM Cinema mobile app and website (www.smcinema.com)

There will only be 34 participating branches. SM also mentioned that "commemorative keepsake will be announced soon."

BTS' agency BigHit Music earlier announced live concert viewing in select theaters worldwide will be on March 12.

Cinemas in other countries have made similar announcements about taking part in the global broadcast.

BTS — composed of members RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook — will hold their three-day concert at the Seoul Olympic Stadium on March 10, 12, and 13.

It's the first time they will be holding a fan-attended event in their home country since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The East Asian nation is currently battling an Omicron variant-driven surge, which is why fans who will be attending the concerts live will be prohibited from cheering and chanting

Last year, BTS also performed in a three-day sold-out concert series at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

This story will be updated with important dates and participating branches, once information is available.
