Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 31) — Online tributes and messages are pouring in for Danny Javier, a third of the iconic OPM group Apo Hiking Society, after news of his death broke on Monday.

He was 75 years old.

Javier's sister-in-in law, Leyte 2nd District Rep. Lolita Javier confirmed the news in a post on Facebook. Included in her post was a photo of Javier with her and his brother, Leyte Vice Governor Leonardo "Sandy" Javier Jr.
